My Kitchen AFTER, and What's really for supper?

Being unable to clean my house the way I want to on Monday (which is usually my "Home Blessing Day") really bugged me. I am SO glad we got the faucet fixed last night. As soon as I was able, I loaded up that dishwasher (or had the kids do it when I was working) and we kept it going til they were mostly all done. Today I got the last load done, had the girls help me clear the dining table and get things looking the way they should again.

I love my new faucet!!

Now for anyone who doesn't have a dishwasher and is fussing at me through the screen, let me tell you... I spent the better part of the last 20 years of my life without a dishwasher - most of those years with kids too young to wash them. We did have a portable dishwasher for a little while, but it was a reconditioned one and didn't last long before it just stopped working. It took up too much space in my tiny little kitchen at our old place anyway. So, believe me, I am THANKFUL for my dishwasher. It is truly a blessing. I thank God for it as often as I thank God for having the sun shine long enough to get my clothes on the line dry-which is at least daily!
