Catloaf

You'd have to know how big this basket is in person to appreciate just how HUGE Porchcat is. When I first put the basket on this table by the window, it was for Zoe to use to do homework and color in coloring books etc. I put a little activity book and a box of crayons in it. Apparently that made it even more appealing...

I love how he even squeezes his face in there and hides his eyes. He sleeps like that most of the time, with one paw over his eyes. He's too adorable to weigh as much as a Golden Retriever.

Just wanted to share my odd loaf of a cat. Have a great weekend!

  1. We have a cat named Tiger that has the same coloring, is huge, and likes to lay the same way. Too funny! I'll have to post a picture to show you the similarities. Like yours, pictures don't do justice to how heavy he is.

  2. That's great! Porchy is actually my first gray/brown tabby (he's tailess too), and I had no idea what great personalities these guys have! (I think each breed has their own quirks.) When he first came here he was skin and bones. I thought his spine was deformed because it arched so high and was so..well, pointy. The bones were literally right under the skin. It was uncomfortable and almost painful to pet him. I don't know how much longer he would have lived if I hadn't taken pity on him. From his name, you might can tell he was never supposed to be an indoor cat. But now he's got me wrapped around his paw and I love petting him, cause now he's so squishy LOL!
