It was the whining or the praying...

If you've been unfortunate enough to have read my blog on some days over the past couple of weeks, you'll know that I have been having a pity party about like schedule.

Apparently someone prayed for me. I admit I did not pray about my situation. It was bad enough I was whining and venting on my blog. I didn't want to bug God with it heh. Well, we seem to be short handed at work these days, and I was asked to swap and fill in for people on day shift in November for about a week and then to also fill in for a day shifter when they go on maternity leave. That'll be in December probably, and may not be for long at all actually. But, it's a start!

So, in a week or so, I'll get a taste of what it's like to work Days. It's the shift that I think will be best for me and my family. Of course, I probably won't be feeling 100% then or afterwards because my sleep schedule will be all weird. Not terribly though- I don't have to clock in til 10:45am so even if I stay up til 2am puttering around the house, I can still wake up by 10 and have 8 hours sleep. It'll just be awesome to have that block of time after 7pm where I can sit down with my family to watch TV, help with homework, and just talk with them. We can have game nights and go out to movies and all that stuff normal people do!

Yeah I know, don't get ahead of myself. But it is kind of exciting and it's nice to have something good to think about and hang onto!
