My Chaotic Home's Menu 8/13 - 8/27

Due to some miscalculations when I was school shopping a couple weeks ago, we need to really tighten the belt this week and curb the spending. So, no eating out for the next two weeks if we can help it. Also, we'll have a house guest arriving on the 28th and will be here til the 10th, so better save up what we can now, so we have money to spend while he's here. It's my best friend from England, and I am SO EXCITED!!

Anyway, here's our menu. I am going to stick to this no matter what!

  1. I know, August has so many extra expenses.:(

I am going to try some of the dishes you listed on your menu plan. I have all of the ingredients for the Zippy Chicken stir-fry. It will be perfect for dinner. :)

I am planning to stick to a tight budget this week too.

Resist that shopping temptation! Stay strong! ;P

  4. Ladybugs, thanks for the encouragement. :) We actually did have the Zippy Chicken stirfry tonight and the Hubby raved about it. We used to have it alot when my oldest was little, but just stopped making it for some reason. He said it was so great to have it again. :) I hope you all like it!

  5. Sharon, I hadn't thought about painting those. Great idea. I am going to look for some as soon as I've got some more household-budget money.
