Tablescape Thursday - Memorial Day Table

This is my first ever time participating in Tablescape Thursday! I'm excited. I've been planning this one for a while, and this past Saturday it just all came together. When we moved into our new home, I promised myself I was going to keep all my decorations organized in tubs and actually decorate for holidays (and not just drag out a couple of knick knacks the day of the holiday - I've been there done that.) Easter was a lot of fun, and I got lots of new things on clearance after the holiday for next year. However, I didn't know about Tablescaping or all these wonderful blogs back then. But now! I had Memorial Day and lots of patriotism to celebrate. We have several military men in our family, and many loved ones are now passed, so it was something I didn't want to be "just another day". Toys!!! I DID IT! Challenge #9 - 21 Days to Get organized

Oh Em Gee I was dreading this one... almost as much as I'm still dreading the freezer. When we moved kids around, Zoe my 8 yr old ( the youngest), got the smallest room to herself, while her teenage sisters now share the larger room. I swore I'd never put Rhiannon and Faelyn in the same room together because one would surely stab the other in their sleep... but they've finally gotten to the phase in their lives where they can not only get along, but actually have fun. It's 1:52am as I write this and they just stopped laughing and apparently fell asleep. Rambling! Sorry! Weekly Challenge #1- Home Management Binder (Part One)

Links to: My HMB Part Two My HMB Part Three I think it was an excellent idea for Toni to start off the weekly challenges with the Home Management Binder. (This is where I ramble...) If you all think my house has been unorganized and cluttered, that's nothing compared to my brain. I have ADD that was never diagnosed as a child - back then we were just called day dreamers or lazy - with parents never considering to go to a Dr for that sort of thing.
