I thought the down days might be behind me. I even started a blog post last night about how things were looking up, like prayers had been answered... but I didn't get it finished, and tonight things changed...
Christopher came home from work looking tired and really worried. He worked 8am-10pm and has to go back tomorrow at 8:30am while the other managers are going in at 6am. They all have been working about non stop because the head honcho in the region or something is coming to visit their store. So tonight he comes home after closing the store, and says not to do anything as far as buying another vehicle yet... word is, if the visit goes badly, then all three managers might lose their jobs.
I can't even think about that right now. It's too terrifying. We're not ready to stop living paycheck to paycheck quite yet, there's no way we can survive on one income or unemployment. Well, I mean we'd have to if it came to that, but we've been through that before. I don't want our kids to go through that kind of life again. I know it's not about the money, it's about a loving home etc etc, but try telling that to the kid when they've had to miss out on every big school trip like Nashville or DC or Charleston.
Anyway, please just keep us in your prayers one more day? I really appreciate it.
