I just heard back from the admin guy at work. He can't put me on the day shift.
I think it's due to me being more specialized in one certain area of work which no one else on the evening shift is really strong in. So I get scheduled in that area the most and in fact have been training 3 of the 4 new guys in there the last 2 weeks.
But hey, it's nice to know they appreciate that I am a go-to person in that area at least. Trying to remain positive about the whole thing. I'm sure someday I'll get moved to dayshift. I did have a chance a while back, but declined. So I have to wait for my turn to roll around again.
