Tablescape Thursday - Memorial Day Table

This is my first ever time participating in Tablescape Thursday! I'm excited. I've been planning this one for a while, and this past Saturday it just all came together. When we moved into our new home, I promised myself I was going to keep all my decorations organized in tubs and actually decorate for holidays (and not just drag out a couple of knick knacks the day of the holiday - I've been there done that.) Easter was a lot of fun, and I got lots of new things on clearance after the holiday for next year. However, I didn't know about Tablescaping or all these wonderful blogs back then. But now! Weekly Challenge #1- Home Management Binder (Part One)

Links to: My HMB Part Two My HMB Part Three I think it was an excellent idea for Toni to start off the weekly challenges with the Home Management Binder. (This is where I ramble...) If you all think my house has been unorganized and cluttered, that's nothing compared to my brain. I have ADD that was never diagnosed as a child - back then we were just called day dreamers or lazy - with parents never considering to go to a Dr for that sort of thing. ANYWAY, that's not an excuse for being a lazy daydreamer, it's just a background reason as to why my house and my life is usually so chaotic. It takes a LOT of work and routines to keep it from sinking back to the utter CHAOS it used to be, believe me. The previous 21 day Organizing Challenge was like all kinds of therapy for me. My Home Management Binder that I've had for 2 years now has been a Godsend seriously. Actually even before it became a HMB, it was my Flylady Control Journal.

My Last Night at Work - Tomorrow Starts New Phase

I'm sitting here at work on a break. There were 5 of us remaining when I clocked in. The day shift guy has now left, It just leaves me and the mid shift guy and our super visor. Soon, the mid shift guy and our super will leave. Then the overnight guy comes in and I leave, and he'll be the last one. The supervisors will be around a few more days to officially pass the tasks over to the new team, but for the rest of us, that's it. I set up a FB group for all past people who have had this job or any of the past iterations of the job as it evolved over the years. It has 70 members already! This job was always so much more than a job. I just wish the company we did it all for understood the kind of loyalty they're tossing away. So, tomorrow, I will fill out the application for unemployment benefits. As soon as I hear what amount I will be getting, I will apply to healthcare.gov to get a plan that will cover all of Christopher's meds and doctors. He is due for
